What is Mangal Dosha?
Mangal Dosha — being Manglik — is counted when Mars occupies the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house from the lagna in a birth chart. Marriage matching weighs it, and tradition treats matching status on both sides as favourable.

How do I know if I have Mangal Dosha?
It depends on which house Mars occupies, counted from your lagna. The 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th are traditionally treated as Manglik. Because it is judged from the lagna, an accurate birth time matters — enter your date, time and place above and the calculation does exactly this.
